MatrixCloud didn't start with buzzwords. We started with a problem. Businesses were getting hit. Ransomware. Data theft. Downtime that cost real money. So 8 of us sat down in 2016 and asked: why's cybersecurity so complicated? Why do small companies get left behind? We built MatrixCloud to change that. No fluff. No corporate theater. Just actual protection that works. Today we defend 347 companies across Romania. Banks. Hospitals. E-commerce shops. Manufacturing plants. They trust us because we're obsessed with keeping the bad guys out.

Our Story
2016. Started in a cramped office near Piața Universității. Five servers. Too much coffee. Two founders who'd both been hit by ransomware (and refused to pay). We built our first detection system in 3 months. Clunky. But it worked. Word spread. By 2018 we had 47 clients. By 2020, the pandemic hit and everyone suddenly cared about security. We scaled fast. Hired talent from Bitdefender, Kaspersky, local startups. Opened our Craiova headquarters in 2021. Now we're 27 people deep. Still moving like a startup. Still refusing to sell garbage.

Spent 9 years at Kaspersky doing threat analysis. Then he got hacked himself (ironic). Built our core detection engine from scratch. Speaks Russian, Python, and profanity in equal measure. Obsesses over zero-day vulnerabilities.
Ana Mihai
Head of Client Operations
Former hospital IT director. Knows healthcare security inside-out. Runs our support team like a military operation—everyone responds in hours, not days. Won't tolerate excuses. Her clients trust her because she doesn't sleep much.
